Open auditions are being held on May 7 and 9, 2009 for the independent feature horror film "The Willows" in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
Sides (selected scenes) will be provided. Principle photography will take place during July and August 2009. Please bring résumés, headshots and/or photographs, if you have them. No previous acting experience necessary.

ALEX: Male. 20 - 25 years old. Caucasian. Leader of the expedition. Proactive, prepared.
DUKE: Male. 20 - 25 years old. African American. Alex's friend. Tall, strong, confident.
COOPER: Male. 20 - 25 years old. Race unspecified. Alex's friend. Outspoken, obnoxious, sarcastic.
MEGAN: Female. 15 - 18 years old. Caucasian. Alex's sister. Harsh, acerbic, unstable.
RACHEL: Female. 20 - 25 years old. Race unspecified. Alex's girlfriend. Strong, rational, grounded.
DAWN: Female. 20 - 25 years old. African American. Rachel's friend. Laid back, watchful, aware.
FEBE: Female. 4 - 6 years old. African American. Mysterious orphan. Tranquil, peculiar, unsettling.

Plot Outline:
The plot involves a group of students exploring the property that one of them has recently inherited. The old plantation was mysteriously abandoned in the 1860's, and the friends are about to discover why.

The American Saga Productions / Howling Wind Productions horror comedy film "Roughing It", written and directed by Michael Bilski, is looking for dedicated crew, actors and actresses of all looks and types.
Characters range in age from 21-50 both male and female.
They will be shooting for the first two weeks of August 2009 in South East Michigan.
American Saga Productions of Berkley, California was put together by a group of investors based mainly in Michigan.
Howling Wind Productions specializes in haunted house design and production, filming, costumes and props. The company is based in Michigan.
