The powerhouse film production company GK Films is in pre-production on the major feature film "Jersey Boys" based on the hit Broadway musical "Jersey Boys: The Story of Frankie Vallie & The Four Seasons". The two-time Primetime Emmy winning casting director for the film is conducting a national talent search, as well as holding open casting calls for the lead roles of Frankie Valli, Bob Gaudio, Tommy DeVito and Nick Massi. Filming begins in January, 2013 and will take place in New York and New Jersey.

Primetime Emmy nominated filmmaker Jon Favreau will direct Graham King's bigscreen adaption of the Tony Award winning Broadway documentary-style musical. This will be Favreau's first directing job after three straight on-screen acting roles. Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice wrote the book that the play was based on, and three-time Academy Award nominated writer John Logan has written the adapted screenplay. Some of Logan's credits include "Gladiator," "The Aviator," "Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street," "Rango," and "Hugo".

Academy Award winning executive of GK Films, Graham King, will produce "Jersey Boys" with Tim Headington. Also producing is Jon Favreau. Frankie Valli and fellow The Four Seasons member Bob Gaudio are executive producing. Sony will distribute the film. "Jersey Boys" will use much of the music from the Broadway play, with such songs as "Sherry," "Big Girls Don't Cry," "Rag Doll," Oh What a Night," and "Can't Take My Eyes Off of You".

"Jersey Boys" tells the story of Frankie Vallie and the other members of the pop sensation group The Four Seasons" during their rise to superstardom. The stage musical opened on Broadway in 2005, and has since had a North American National Tour, along with productions in London's West End, Las Vegas, Chicago, Toronto, Melbourne, Sydney, Philadelphia, Auckland and Brisbane.
