Justin Timberlake is back in action and returned to the set of his sci-fi thriller feature film "Now," which was put on a short hold after the "SexyBack" singer injured a calf muscle during shooting in early December. Filming will resume after the holidays on January 5th, 2011. The film's extras casting director is holding open casting calls for attractive young adults who have not yet worked on the project.
The feature film, which was originally titled "I'm.Mortal," takes place in a not-to-distant future where time dictates all aspects of life. Population control is regulated by stopping the aging gene at 25 years, roughly when an individuals brain becomes fully mature - at which point a "body clock" begins a countdown to death. The clock displays on a persons wrist under the skin, and time is transferred via a high tech hand-shake that utilizes the body's natural electricity in the pulse. Wealthy people can live forever by purchasing additional "life time," but the poor die when the clock hits zero.
Due to this storyline, the film is in need of additional good looking young adult extras who fit specific needs. They are casting what is called "18 to look younger" in the business. It simply means that production needs people who are above 18 years of age, but can appear to be under 18.
New Regency Pictures picked up the high-priority project last spring. Academy Award nominated Andrew Niccol is directing, with Marc Abraham, Eric Newman, Thomas A. Bliss and Kristel Laiblin producing for Strike Entertainment. Twentieth Century Fox will distribute the film.

He ends up on the run from a corrupt police force known as "time keepers."
