Story:

This drama series is inspired by the classic Grimm's Fairy Tales. Remember the fairy tales your parents used to tell you before bedtime? Those weren’t stories, they were warnings. Nick Burkhardt (David Guintoli) thought he prepared himself for the realities of working as a homicide detective until he started seeing things he couldn’t quite explain. When his ailing Aunt Marie (Kate Burton) arrives, Nick's life turns upside down when she reveals they are descendants of an elite group of hunters, also known as “Grimms,” who fight to keep the balance of humanity safe from the supernatural creatures of the world. As Nick digs deeper into her past, he realizes that he will have to shoulder the responsibility of his ancestors, and contend with a larger-than-life mythology of the Brothers Grimm that is now all too real. As a Grimm, he sees things that other people can't, including evil creatures straight out of the darkest fairy tale. And as a Grimm, Nick must battle the forces of evil - even at grave and ever-present risk to his own life.

With Divisi undergoing some intense interpersonal strife - most of their members have graduated, singer Chloe (Brittany Snow) has vocal chord nodes and their leader Aubrey (Anna Camp) insists on keeping the group in its same old groove - the stakes are high, particularly with the inclusion of freshman-with-a-bad-attitude, Beca Mitchell (Anna Kendrick), whose good ideas are routinely shot down by Aubrey. Beca's also trying hard not to fall in love with fellow freshman Jesse (Adam DeDine), a nice guy and a new member of the Trebles - whose guys are, according to the age-old Divisi tradition, off-limits to the Divisi girls.

Working titles are used primarily for two reasons - the first being that an official title has not yet been decided upon and the working title is being used as a filler for naming purposes, the second being to intentionally disguise the production of a high profile film. In some cases a working title may ultimately be used as the official title. This "title ruse" is now a very common practice by which these high-profile films or television series is given a fake working title to keep its production a secret, and to prevent price gouging by suppliers, casual theft and undesirable attention. It this case, the production office and company in Atlanta is named Call Me Artie, LLC. In addition, the crew members are using "Call Me Artie" as their current position on their resumes.

Story:

Explores the differences in parenting philosophies between the last two generations, or how "parent" morphed from a noun into a verb. In the film, Billy Crystal plays Fresno AAA baseball broadcaster Artie Decker, a grandfather forced to take care of his grandchildren (Joshua Rush, Bailee Madison), by the 21st century rules of his estranged daughter (Marisa Tomei), their mother (Bette Midler), who has gone on a weeklong work vacation. In the process, he is confronted with what seems to him an absurd world of negotiating with kids, Little League games where everyone gets a hit, tailored meals and "feelings". Ultimately, he reverts to an old-school justice style of discipline.

Note: This "Untitled Ramin Bahrani Film" has been using the working title of "Heartland". A working title is the temporary name of a film used during its development. It this case, it is unknown if the film will be titled "Heartland" or will have a different title to be named at a later date.

Filming will continue through mid-late October, 2011 in DeKalb. "Heartland" is due to be released in theaters sometime in 2012.

20th Century Fox open casting call for NBC series 'The Playboy Club'

*** "The Playboy Club" has been cancelled ***

The show premiered to a only 5 million viewers on September 219, 2011 and then plummeted to a mere 3.8 million the following week. It's a bummer because I personally loved the show. I think it was a huge mistage airing on the same night as Dancing With The Stars.

Steven Spielberg feature film 'Lincoln' open casting calls

Academy Award-winning filmmaker Steven Spielberg is set to begin production on the highly anticipated major feature film 'Lincoln' late September, 2011 in Chicago and Virginia. The extras casting director is holding an open casting call in Richmond, VA seeking men above 20 years of age. There will also be another open casting call in August that includes women and children.

Spielberg will direct the film from a screenplay written by Academy Award nominated scribe Tony Kushner. The adapted screenplay is based on Doris Kearns Goodwin's bestseller "Team of Rivals: The Political Genius of Abraham Lincoln," which follows Lincoln's leadership during the years of the American Civil War.

While consulting on a Steven Spielberg project in 1999, Kearns-Goodwin told Spielberg she was planning to write "Team of Rivals," and Spielberg immediately told her he wanted the film rights. DreamWorks finalized the deal way back in 2001 and the film has been in pre-production ever since.

The film will star Academy Award-winning actors Daniel Day-Lewis as Abraham Lincoln and Sally Field as Mary Todd Lincoln. Liam Neeson was attached to play the role of Abraham Lincoln from the start, but withdrew from the project in 2010, at which point Daniel Day-Lewis agreed to play the role.
