The video game developers for the upcoming Gearbox Software "Borderlands 2" are holding an open casting call for an actress to portray the character of Lilith. The person chosen will appear in the game "Borderlands 2" as the live action version of the character and additionally may be invited to participate in promotional events and trade shows. The chosen candidate will be required to sign a standard likeness rights and work for hire contract and will be paid $1,000 per day of shooting.
Borderlands 2 is a science fiction–based first-person shooter with RPG (role-playing game) elements and the sequel to 2009's Borderlands. It is currently under development by Gearbox Software for the Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 platforms. The game is expected to be released in the distributor's 2013 fiscal year, which begins in April 2012 and ends in March 2013.
Once a human, Lilith at one point was turned into a siren, so she is one of only six Sirens. they are a group of people with unbelievable powers, but no way to control them. She comes to Pandora in search of another Siren, in an effort to find out more about herself. Lilith's most iconic ability is called "Phase Walk", where she will teleport herself into another dimension where Lilith becomes invisible and can sneak around enemies with massively increased speed. Upon revealing herself, she detonates a shock-wave that can do area effect damage to all enemies.
Casting Call Details
• You must be female, between the ages of 18 and 30.
• You must able to provide your own transportation.
• You must be on-set in the Dallas, TX area for testing and shooting.
• You must be available during the first three weeks of December.
• You do not need to have any past acting or modeling experience.
• You must exhibit a range of facial expressions and emotions.
• You will be expected to follow direction.
• In the Borderlands Universe, a Siren can project a live-action image of herself into the minds of those she wishes to communicate with. Your look need not be exact, but expressive of Lilith in the mind’s eye – similar to how the Guardian Angel was portrayed in the original Borderlands.
They will choose a candidate that has "sufficient plausible" resemblance to the character Lilith from the video game Borderlands. This is a contract job opportunity.

Select candidates from the open casting call will be invited to attend a more in-depth screen test.

About Gearbox Software
Gearbox is a company best known for their early work on the Half-Life series and WWII video game series Brothers in Arms.In January 1999, Gearbox Software was formed by five people from Rebel Boat Rocker: Brian Martel, Randy Pitchford, Landon Montgomery, Rob Heironimus, and Stephan Bahl. Everyone except for Montgomery had previously worked at 3D Realms. Gearbox got their start by developing the expansions for Half Life. Their experience in game consoles began when they ported Half Life to the Playstation 2, and from there they formed relationships with different publishers when the company after they pursued additional port work. The games were especially praised for the squad based gameplay and historical accuracy. Brothers In Arms: Hell's Highway was released a few years later in 2008.
