New VH1 series 'Single Ladies' open casting call in Atlanta, GA

Casting Director Bill Marinella, a 17-year industry veteran, announced today that he is in search of background talent and specialty bit players for the premiere season of Single Ladies, executive produced by Flavor Unit and POPfilms and shooting exclusively in Atlanta, GA. All positions are paid!

The open call is open for ages 18 and up only please. Arrive with two forms of valid I.D.

Single Ladies is a comedic drama about Val, Keisha, and April - three best friends with different philosophies on sex and relationships. Shia LaBeouf feature film 'The Wettest County in the World' open casting call

Casting directors for the upcoming feature film "The Wettest County in the World" are holding an open casting call for extras to appear in the film. They are seeking a variety of paid extras to portray characters during the Depression Era.

The film stars Shia LaBeouf, Tom Hardy, Jessica Chastain, Mia Wasikowska, Jason Clarke, and Dane DeHaan. "The Road" director John Hillcoat will direct from a script by Nick Cave adapted from Matt Bondurant's novel of the same name. The novel is based on a true story.

Shooting on "The Wettest County in the World" will commence on February 27, 2011 in the Senoia, Georgia area. The casting directors are basically in need of various Caucasian and African American extras, however people of any ethnicity are welcome to attend the open casting call to be considered for future film and television projects in the future.

Story:

Centers on the story of three brothers - Forrest (Tom Hardy), Howard and Jack (Shia LaBeouf) in order of age and toughness - running a bootlegging gang during 1930’s Prohibition whose moonshine dynasty in Franklin County, Virginia is threatened by the authorities wanting a cut. The tale is told through the eyes of the youngest brother Jack, who doesn’t really have the stomach for violence or taste for madness and drink that his wild older brothers do. In many ways, it’s the tale of the younger Bondurant building character and becoming a man, but not necessarily by following in his brother’s footsteps. Forrest is described as a giant, Howard a drunk and Jack as the runt of the trio.
