Warner Bros. second film in the "Clash of the Titans" trilogy, currently titled "Wrath of the Titans", is in production and open casting calls will be held in the Canaries for local for extras to take part in the film. All ages are being sought including kids.
Shooting on "Wrath of the Titans" is taking place in London, Wales, and on the Canary Island of Tenerife, primarily at the World Heritage Site, Teide National Park. The Canary Islands are part of the country of Spain.
Jonathan Liebesman (Battle: Los Angeles) is directing, while Rabbit Hole Pictures President Louis Leterrier will executive produce. Leterrier directed the first installment in the "Titans" trilogy, "Clash of the Titans". Thomas Tull and Jon Jashni of Legendary Pictures will also co-executive produce.
"Wrath of the Titans" is being filmed using special 3D cameras such as were used for Avatar. This will result in a far more realistic and captivating 3D effect than was achieved with "Clash of the Titans," where the 3D effects were created in post production.
The release date for "Wrath of the Titans" is scheduled for March 23, 2012.
Here is what the casting directors are seeking:

• Must be completely available from 9 May 2011 - 15 June 2011.

Morgan Creek Productions launches massive talent search for feature film 'Tupac'
A massive talent search is underway to hopefully find a new unknown actor to play the lead role of Tupac Shakur in the upcoming feature film titled "Tupac". Tupac Shakur was the rapper, actor, record producer, poet, screenwriter and activist who was gunned down and assassinated the night of September 7, 1996 in Las Vegas, NV.
David and James Robinson of Morgan Creek Productions will executive produce along with Afeni Shakur, Tupac's mother. She will executive produce a film in 2012 that Tupac Shakur wrote prior to his death titled "Live 2 Tell". David Robinson said that they are looking for someone with the right mix of raw charm and charisma for the role, and they are we’re more concerned about finding someone with the ability to give their entire heart into the performance more than just looks and personality.
Black Reel Award winning Antoine Fuqua will direct "Tupac" from a script written by Academy Award nominated writers Stephen J. Rivele and Chris Wilkinson. Rivele and Wilkinson wrote the Oscar nominated biopic feature film "Ali" that starred Will Smith.
The film's studios, production companies, and casting directors have set up the following website for people who would like to audition for the role of Tupac Shakur:

The casting call allows individuals who epitomize and illuminate the persona of Tupac to upload their video audition. Major feature film 'Playing the Field' open casting call for both kids and adults
Italian filmmaker Gabriele Muccino is set to direct the Indy comedy film "Playing the Field," starring Gerard Butler, Uma Thurman, Jessica Biel, and newcomer Noah Lomax. An open casting call is scheduled in Shreveport, Louisiana where filming will take place. The starring roles are being cast out of Los Angeles.
Gabriele Muccino has had success directing American films in the past with the Will Smith starring vehicles "Seven Pounds," and "The Pursuit of Happyness," as well as "The Last Kiss" which was a remake of his 2001 Italian film version of the same name.
Nu Image Films' Avi Lerner and Danny Dimport will executive produce, while Gerard Butler and Alan Siegel will produce under the banner of their production company Evil Twins Productions. Misher Films' Kevin Misher will also co-produce.
Writer Robbie Fox has the final draft of the script in place and ready to go before cameras in late March 2011. Fox's previous screenplay credits are "So I Married an Axe Murderer," "In the Army Now," and "Shooting Elizabeth". In addition to listed credits, Fox did uncredited script polishes for various TV and movies including "My Girl" with Dan Aykroyd and Macaulay Culkin, and Disney's animated "Runaway Brain".
"Playing the Field was originally written as a baseball story titled "Confessions of a Little League Coach," but producers decided to have Robbie Fox rewrite the script as a soccer themed film to give it a much more international appeal, thus selling more box office tickets and higher DVD sales. Besides, the hot-to-trot soccer mom sub-plot works much better than a little-league baseball moms plot would have!
Principal photography begins on March 28, 2011 in Shreveport, Louisiana and will continue through May 20, 2011. Extras will be cast throughout filming.

Sony Pictures Entertainment is in the casting stage on the upcoming feature film "Here Comes the Boom" starring Kevin James and Salma Hayek. There are auditions for principal actors taking place in Los Angeles, and also in Boston. Open casting calls for extras are scheduled throughout March, 2011 in Greater Boston area locations where filming will take place beginning on March 28, 2011.
"Here Comes the Boom" is about a physics teacher named Scott (Kevin James) who participates in UFC mixed martial arts competitions to save his school's music program.
Kevin James and Jeff Sussman's production company, Hey Eddie, is producing along with Adam Sandler's Happy Madison Productions, Todd Garner's Broken Road Productions, and Columbia Pictures - a subsidiary of Sony Pictures Entertainment.
Todd Garner will direct from a script by Allan Loeb. Garner directed the surprise hit "Paul Blart: Mall Cop," and due to that success, the same production team has made the upcoming film "Zookeeper," as well as the currently filming the Adam Sandler comedy "Jack and Jill".
It is looking like this combination of producers/directors/actors has become a revenue machine for Sony.

Two time Primetime Emmy award nominated Adam Shankman will serve as Producer, Director, and Choreographer on the upcoming feature film version of the Broadway production of "Rock of Ages". The film's casting directors are conduction a nation talent search (including Canada) for the lead role of Drew Boley. The character of Drew Foley is a young, handsome rocker. He has great comedic timing, a rocker tough exterior edge, boyish quality, charm, vulnerability, is a potential huge rock star. ABC Family open casting call for TV movie 'Teen Spirit' in Wilmington, NC
Wilmington, NC will be the shooting location for the upcoming ABC Family made-for-TV movie titled "Teen Spirit". The lead roles are being cast in Los Angeles, and additional principal actor roles and extras will be cast in Wilmington. There will be an open casting call in Wilmington, NC on March 5th, 2011.
The story follows Amber, the most popular - and mean spirited - girl in school. Amber is fatally electrocuted, and she's charged with helping the most unpopular girl in school, a music nerd named Lisa, become prom queen in order to enter through the pearly gates of heaven. But when Amber's makeover of Lisa becomes far more than adequate, Lisa ends up dumping her old true friends in favor of the in-crowd and she becomes self-absorbed in her new found popularity.
The Ladder Program Board of Advisors members Steven Gary Banks and James Middleton will produce "Teen Spirit". The Ladder Program is an intensive internship experience that combines working in the real world of entertainment with an academic framework that teaches the skills needed to have a future career in entertainment.
Steven Gary Banks is a prolific screenwriter having sold 11 feature screenplays to the major film studios including Disney, Miramax, New Line, Sony/Columbia Pictures, Paramount, Revolution Studios and Warner Brothers. Mr. Banks also works in television creating new series and has written five different pilots for the Fox and ABC networks.
James Middleton has worked as SVP Production and Development of C2 Pictures and Vice President of Development at United Artists. He has been featured on CNN and NBC newscasts concerning the entertainment industry and is a member of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences and the Producers Guild of America.
