Please note the following:


Please wear a skirt and body conscious clothing, with a two piece swimsuit under your clothing.

Bring or wear high heel shoes (bring the highest heels you own!).

You should wear no makeup other than lip gloss, and long hair should be pulled back in a ponytail.

You must bring proof of age (photo ID) such as a passport, driver's license or health card with photo.

Entry Procedures to the Competition The Competition is open to Females who are between the ages 18 and 23 on Friday January 30, 2009, who are Canadian citizens and/or permanent residents of Canada and who are at least five feet eight inches (5'8")/one hundred seventy-three centimeters (173 cm) in height.



Open Casting Calls For Universal Pictures Feature Film Seeking Young Man 15-17

Christopher Mintz-Plasse was just your average everyday high school kid when he landed the role of McLovin' in the teen comedy Superbad. Now he’s a full-fledged star with hits like Role Models and his upcoming flick Year One (alongside Michael Cera and Jack Black).

Fledgling future actors have the chance to live the dream just like Mintz-Plasse.

Universal Pictures is currently having a talent search for a young male McLovin-type to play “Edward,” a high school senior in an upcoming comedy starring Meryl Streep, Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin. The movie films in Los Angeles and New York in early 2009 and no prior acting is required to play the 17-year-old teen.

WHO: Casting the role of Edward, an awkward, funny, precocious 17-year-old high school senior. Must be available for work in NYC and L.A. from Feb ’09 until mid-June ’09. No prior experience or preparation is necessary.

Dove Productions is an international production company with offices in Europe, Africa and the United States. They are committed to exposing young talented actors and actresses to the rest of the world.

An open casting call for their latest feature film entitled "Miracle on Hollywood Blvd." will be held on Monday, January 12. The following roles are available:

Eva: Guest Lead. FEMALE, 18 TO 33, 5' 5" - 6' 0". She is African America, crazy looking for a man to marry. she has three kids from three different men. She depends solely on child support as she tries to find a man that will accept her with three kids.

Xi: FEMALE, 18 TO 35. Asian. Must speak Chinese. A very respectful girl ready to get married but has a family that can stand to see her marry someone other than a Chinese

Mr Wong: MALE, 35 TO 70. Asian. Mr Wong is the father to Xi

Betty: FEMALE, 18 TO 33, 5' 5" - 6' 3". African American She is beautiful but lazy. she depends on her good looks for money and want men to take care of her. she hates school and work.

Kate: FEMALE, 18 TO 33, 4' 0" - 6' 1". Hispanic. Must speak spanish. She is Mexican, very strong will and desperately needs a man that can take care of her and all her brothers and sister.

Jose: MALE, 18 TO 45. Hispanic. Jose is a friend to the lead (Allen). Jose is a Network engineer

Ester: FEMALE, 18 TO 33, 5' 0" - 6' 5". African. Must have a west African dialect. She is African from Nigeria. She has been arranged by her parents to marry a man that she does not love.

Karren: FEMALE, 18 TO 33, 5' 7" - 6' 7". African American. Should be able to dance hip hop. Very sexy and beautiful, tall and athletic.

Mark: MALE, 18 TO 45. African American. Mark is a minister with a deep desire to see Allen (lead actor) get married.

Leonard: MALE, 18 TO 45. Caucasian. Leonard is a medical doctor and a friend to Allen.

Story Line:

Open Casting Call for Two Fan Commentators to Appear on Auction Network's Live Coverage of the "Battlestar Galactica" Auction

Casting Call Will Take Place from 10 AM to 3 PM December 30 at Universal CityWalk Live Auction for The Award-Winning SCI FI Channel Series "Battlestar Galactica" Set for January 17 and 18 in Pasadena, California.

The Auction Network is conducting an open casting call and looking for two enthusiastic Battlestar Galactica fans to be on-air commentators. The open casting call will take place December 30 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Universal CityWalk in Universal City, California. Registration will begin at 10:00 a.m. on the patio outside of CityWalk's "Tu Tu Tango" restaurant.

Auction Network will announce the two lucky winners on Jan. 7, 2009, on www.auctionnetwork.com. Winning fan commentators will receive travel, hotel expenses and one-day per diem compliments of Auction Network. The ambrosia is on you.


Auction Network is giving interested fans two ways to audition:

1. Show up to the live open casting call which will take place on Dec. 30, 2008, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. (PST) on the patio of the Café Tu Tu Tango Restaurant located on the Universal CityWalk at 100 Universal City Plaza in Universal City, CA 91608. You will be able to fill out release forms at the casting call. Registration begins at 10 am (PST). Bring a photo ID to participate.

2) Can't make it to the open casting call? Interested applicants can create and submit an original video with a maximum running time of five minutes (0:05:00) in a digital file format (.AVI, .MOV, .WMV or .MPG). Post the video to your YouTube channel and send an e-mail to contest@auctionnetwork.com. Or, submit the video through the Auction Network Battlestar Galactica contest group channel (www.youtube.com/group/ANBattlestarContest).

The casting directors will check it out and if it blows their fraking minds, they will add your audition video to the YouTube favorites section along with all the videos Auction Network collected during the on-site casting call.

The judges will rate the videos on a 1-10 point scale rating with 1 point being the lowest score and 10 points being the highest score, based on the following equally weighted criteria: (1) expertise in BSG trivia and all other matters BSG, (2) ability to articulate your thoughts and deliver commentary clearly, (3) capability to express yourself with brevity, and (4) good camera presence (audience appeal).

All video submissions are due by 11:59 p.m. (CST) on Jan. 5, 2009.
