Open Casting Call for "Go Mutants!" new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles live action feature film

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, in association with Mirage Studios, 4Kids Entertainment and TMNT Productions will host an open casting call for martial arts experts to audition for the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie, hitting theaters in 2011. They will select the best from the auditions to be a part of the stealth TMNT nemesis, the Foot Clan.

The casting call is part of the 25th Anniversary Shell-ebration of the “Heroes on a Half Shell” in 2009, and a great way to bring together all schools of martial arts to become part of the new generation of TMNT.

The Judges are reaching out to ask for your participation in spreading the word to your associates, friends and family within the martial arts community. Details of the event are below, and final rules/regulations will be posted shortly.

Judges to include actor and martial arts expert Ernie Reyes, Jr., Jason Morgan from the American Taekwondo Association, and 2011 TMNT movie producers Scott Mednick and Galen Walker.

Audition:

30-Second Martial Arts Demo (Single Person Only).

No metal, sharp or bladed weapons of any kind allowed!

Photo and updated resume with contact information.

Fourteen years or older (under 18 must have adult permission for audition).

To Be Considered For The Showcase:

The casting directors for Jimmy Kimmel Live! are looking for new and unknown singers, comics, dancers, rappers, magicians, ninjas, etc. Please send a DVD or VHS tape of your audition with your name, talent and phone number on the DVD or spine of the tape.

Before you send anything in, read the Procedures and Rules. You must print, sign and send in the General Name and Likeness Release and the Material Release. They be looking at all the DVDs and tapes, and please make sure they are to the point and that your tapes are cued up. No phone calls, no audition. We look forward to seeing your talent!

The casting department for the new HBO series pilot "Boardwalk Empire", directed by Martin Scorsese, is seeking actors who can portray the following:

Men and women who are willing to smoke or be around smoke. Men must be willing to get hair cut short. Women must have at least shoulder-length hair.

Looking for average to small sized people;

Men with real-life experience as fishermen hauling large nets;

Men with real-life professional experience/training boating and in boating safety.

Story:

A look at the history of Atlantic City's boardwalk from its origins as a quiet seaside resort to the casino empire it is today. Based on the book "Boardwalk Empire: The Birth, High Times, and Corruption of Atlantic City" by Nelson Johnson.

Open Casting Call for Sony feature film "Straw Dogs"

Sony/Screen Gems announces the movie "Straw Dogs," written and directed by Rod Lurie, and it is slated to begin filming in Shreveport, LA on August 17, 2009. This film is a remake of the 1972 version which starred Dustin Hoffman.

Glorioso Casting, LLC (Harold & Kumar 2, The Mist, The Expendables) is conducting the local casting in Bossier City, LA for the film with open auditions scheduled on July 11. People of all ages and ethnicities are encouraged to attend as there is a need for more than 1,000 extras in several of the scenes as well as featured extras. (See Special Needs Below).

What to bring:

Bring a recent non-returnable photo (4" x 6" preferred). If you do not have a picture, one will be taken for you. Applicants may also bring a photo of their car to be considered for the film.

Special Needs:

Everyone should register! However we do have a strong need for:

• FOOTBALL PLAYERS: 18 - 23 years to look high school age. Real football players are encouraged to attend.
• CHEERLEADERS: 18 - 23 years to look high school age. Real cheerleaders are encouraged to attend.
• REFEREE'S: REAL football referees are encouraged to attend.
• TOWNSPEOPLE: Adults, 18 and over, are strongly encouraged to attend. Children may sign up as well but parents/guardians must be present.

NOTE: They will have 4 days of NIGHT SHOOTING the week of August 17th, 2009 and they will need a large amount of extras. These are PAID positions. All who attend will be considered for the film!
