Story:

Levi Layton is eighteen years old and tired of his life, and the expectations of being a preacher’s son. Despite being very close with his father when he was a kid, Levi and his father Steve have grown distant, and Levi finds himself wanting more for his life than their small town can offer. As he dreams of a way out, Levi receives a large inheritance and he, his girlfriend Abigail, and his best friend Tyler discover their chance to get away from it all. Eighteen years old, and armed with one hundred thousand dollars, a life of fast cars, raging parties, and new friends is just a midnight escape away.

Feature Film "Dismal Creek" Casting Notice for Washington, DC and Baltimore, MD talent

MCMFILMS is accepting submissions from metro Washington, DC and Baltimore, MD talent for "DISMAL CREEK" a feature film.

MCMFILMS in Washington, D.C. is producing a thriller/horror film in the tradition of "Wolf Creek" and "The Missing", about six friends who go camping in the Appalachian Mountains never to return.

All Roles will be compensated, this is a SAG film.

You must be in good to excellent condition as the roles will require a great deal of hiking, running and some tumbling and climbing. Female characters must be comfortable with partially nudity, which will shot in a tasteful and professional manner.

Casting Call for Children to be news anchors for Kids TV Network in Atlanta, GA


KT 2 News is a news show for kids by kids. The production is the brain child of student director Lazara Leonard. Leonard’s lifetime association with the entertainment industry coupled with her drive to showcase the talent of children gave rise to KT 2 News. This exciting new show was born from her desire to work with children who, for one reason or another, had limited exposure in the entertainment field, but could easily be considered Atlanta’s “next big thing. The show began airing once a week on Wednesdays at 6pm April 8th, 2009.

The shows producers and casting directors are seeking outgoing energetic youth who are interested in working on the show as news anchors, reporters, weather reporters, sports reporters, food critics, fashion reporters, and entertainment reporters. All reporting is from a kid’s perspective. The KT 2 News “kid staff” has input in front of the camera and behind the camera. They help to decide what events to cover and how to cover them.

Parents this is a weekly news show that has to air pre-produced materials that will be shot between 1 to 3 days per week at times.

A time consuming, long term commitment is required to meet the show's initial goals.

Your children must be able to learn improv, must be outgoing, must be able to take direction, and that all parents must be easy to work with.

Flexibility is required as some of the shows must be taped with little or last minute notice! Even though the show's producers do respect that your kids, at times, might have other commitments, they will try their best to work with them. But above all - this show must be a priority!
