Open Casting Call for lead role in new Alloy Entertainment series "Private"

Alloy Entertainment, the production company behind Gossip Girls has announced an open casting call for a lead role their new internet based series "Private", the popular teen-mystery novels by author Kate Brian. This is Alloy Entertainment’s second original web series, having recently launched its UTA-backed "Haute and Bothered" on Teen.com.

The Private web series will be directed by Dennie Gordon who has worked on numerous television show and the movie What a Girl Wants. The series is set to begin shooting on June 29th and will wrap on July 15th. The web series will air sometime in July 2009 on the marketing website’s video hub, Teen.com.

Those who want to audition for roles in the web series may download one of three available 60-second scripts for the role of "Kiran", film the video, then upload the short to the website.

Fans will vote for their favorite video and 15 entrants will win prizes. Producers of the show will select their top three favorites who will take part in a reality series and compete for a role on the web show.

Ashton Kutcher feature film "Five Killers" casting stand-ins and extras in Atlanta, GA

Casting Directors are hiring over 200 paid background actors in Atlanta, GA for a feature film titled "Five Killers" starring Ashton Kutcher, Katherine Heigl, and Tom Selleck. The film is being produced by Ashton Kutcher's production company Katalyst Films and is scheduled for a June 4, 2010, release.

Men, women and children of all types are needed. Send a picture (as a .jpg attachment) in an email with your name and contact info. Also include height, weight and clothing size. It does not need to be a headshot or professional picture. Any picture will do.

They are also seeking stand-ins for Ashton Kutcher and Katherine Heigl: male, 6'2-1/2", slim build, brown hair; female, 5'9", slim build, blonde hair.

Story:

The story follows a hitman (Kutcher) at the top of his game who falls for a computer tech (Heigl) and decides to hang up his guns. Years later, their suburban bliss is ruptured when he finds out there's a hit out on him, forcing him and his spooked wife to go on the run.

Open Casting Call for feature film "The Willows" in Kentucky

Open auditions are being held on May 7 and 9, 2009 for the independent feature horror film "The Willows" in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

Sides (selected scenes) will be provided. Principle photography will take place during July and August 2009. Please bring résumés, headshots and/or photographs, if you have them. No previous acting experience necessary.

The American Saga Productions / Howling Wind Productions horror comedy film "Roughing It", written and directed by Michael Bilski, is looking for dedicated crew, actors and actresses of all looks and types.
