Feature Film "Back To The Beyond" casting call in South Port, Maine

Internationally recognized film group, DiBacco Films, based in New England seeks ambitious actors and actresses for upcoming feature film. This is a unique opportunity for worldwide exposure. "Back to the Beyond", is a modern adaptation of the 1950's TV series "One Step Beyond".

BRIAN OSTRANDER: early-twenties, a slender college-type, curious, greatly interested in the ”unexplained”

KELLY (WAITRESS): early-twenties, another college type, highly motivated by caffeine…and her acting career

BROCK PETERS: mid-twenties, tall, well-built, a computer geek in a Hercules body

MORGAN JANE (M.J.) PARKER: mid-twenties, tall, well-built, “Wonder Woman” with an attitude

RICO CROMARTIE: mid-twenties, medium build, technologically brilliant, a “wise ass” with a Texas accent

ELLEN COURTNEY: late-twenties, meekly, housewife-type (refer to “Captain’s Guests)

ALAIN EDWARDS: late-twenties, medium build, a nervous young man with zero patience

Open Casting Calls for feature film "Splatter" in Burlington and Washington, Iowa

Casting Director Ann Wilkinson is conduction two open casting calls for extras in the Burlington and Washington, Iowa, areas to work on the feature film "Splatter". For consideration to appear as an extra, Wilkinson suggests people attend the open call, complete some paperwork, then have their picture taken.

Wilkinson is is looking for a number of local community members in Burlington, IA to appear as background extras at a paintball tournament. She is also looking for people in Washington, IA to play patrons in either an upscale restaurant or a funky bar.

The film is written and directed by Lonnie Schuyler of Burlington, IA. Schuyler is a former actor and played "Alan Ross" on Melrose Place, and "Ben Singer" on Models Inc.

Filming for the extras scenes is set to take place throughout June , and people would need to be available to appear on set for several days.

Warner Brothers Sandra Bullock feature film "The Blind Side" open casting call

Casting directors for the upcoming Warner Brothers feature film "The Blind Side", based on Michael Lewis' book, "The Blind Side: Evolution of a Game" are holding an open casting call for young men 16 - 25 years of age, 5'9" to 6'2" tall, to portray high school football players.

MUST HAVE ACTUAL FOOTBALL EXPERIENCE.

They are also casting two speaking parts, so any football players with acting experience is a bonus too. Guys considered for these speaking roles will be picked and asked to read for the camera after they go through a light agility test and are able to meet the physical requirements.

The Blind Side is a movie about a wealthy couple, Sean (Tim McGraw) and Leigh Anne Touhy (Sandra Bullock), who take in a homeless African-American teenager and mentor him. Kathy Bates will play a no-nonsense tutor hired by Bullock to knock the teen into shape. The movie begins shooting in Atlanta later this month and is based on the best-selling book, The Blind Side: Evolution Of The Game, written by Michael Lewis and based on the real-life story of Michael Oher. Oher who inspired the book, was selected the 23rd pick in the 1st round of the 2009 NFL Draft by the Baltimore Ravens.

Feature Film "The Dead Can't Dance" Open Casting Call in Wichita, KS

Harmy Films and Prairie Fire Productions are casting for zombie extras and vocal auditions for character of Male Radio Announcer. Any interested individuals encouraged to audition. No experience necessary, but headshot and resumes accepted. Non-union. Ages 14 and up preferred.

Primary shoot will be June 6-14 at the Independent School, 8301 E. Dougas, with extras needed on weekends and evenings. Other shoots will be in late June and July, primarily weekends, in various locations. There is no pay. Zombies will be asked to provide own wardrobe. Makeup artist will be provided.

Auditions for zombie extras: Will consist of zombie characterization exercise, basically acting like a zombie. They are looking for the "traditional zombie" variety - slow and dumb (think "Shaun of the Dead" and "Night of the Living Dead"). You will audition according to arrival time (people can arrive as early as 6 p.m.), and you will be asked to fill out paperwork including a release form. Minors will need parent or guardian present to sign paperwork.

Vocal auditions for Male Radio Announcer character Will consist of a reading from the script. Your entire face will not be seen on screen, but your mouth will be shown talking into a microphone. We are looking for radio-friendly voices with a little sarcasm, some attitude and comic timing. This is a recurring character in the script. Actual dates of production for this character will most likely be late summer/early fall at a location to be announced. You will be asked to sign a release form.
