Audition for the Chance to Star in a Clark Pest Control Commercial

CLARK NEEDS YOU!

Ever dream of seeing your face on the small screen? Now is your chance! Clark Pest Control is holding open auditions for the chance to star in an upcoming television commercial during the California Mid-State Fair. Participants will each create their own commercial in front of a green screen that will later appear as a backdrop of a residential home. Props will be provided, but contestants can use their own creativity to ad-lib a 30-second spot ending with the widely recognized "Clark We Need You!" call for help.

The contest to star in a Clark Pest Control commercial will take place during the California Mid-State Fair in Paso Robles. Auditions will be held at the Clark Pest Control booth (inside The Market Place building) from Noon until 5 p.m. on Saturday, July 25 through Monday, July 27.

After July 27th, judges will select one finalist from the Mid-State Fair auditions. More auditions are being held in Reno and Lodi later in the summer, and a finalist will be selected from each of those auditions as well. Once all of the auditions are completed in late September, judges will review the three finalists' auditions and select the grand-prize winner, who will star in one of next season's new commercials.

Clark Pest Control has historically used humor in its commercials to convey the many problems its customers are encountering and the services they provide to counteract those issues. Before auditioning, contestants are encouraged to check out past television commercials at http://www.clarkpest.com. All of the auditions taped during the Mid-State Fair will be featured on the Clark Pest Control website beginning August 3rd.

Still Casting The Following:

SWING/PIT SINGER/EFFIE WHITE COVER: (20’s) African-American. This vibrant young woman is as oversized in talent as she is in person. Effie is the true powerhouse in the group, a soaring singer whose voice overpowers and transcends Deena’s and Lorrrell’s. Smitten with Curtis from the beginning, Effie is overcome by anger and jealousy when she senses his growing attraction to Deena. Effie should be full-figured and her size carries with it a true sense of sexuality. HUGE GOSPEL BELT VOICE. Must move very well.
