Casting Call for film "Jackson and Joseph" in Herndon, VA

VCU Cinema is casting several principal roles for the film "Jackson and Joseph". Actors must be local to the area.

Production Dates: May 20th – May 30th

Character Breakdowns:

Jackson: Caucasian, approximately 21 – 24. A young man on the edge of adulthood. A day dreamer - but independent, strong, and has the ability to survive on his own. Trying to find his place in the world.

Amy: Caucasian, approximately 12 - 14. Sister to Jackson. She is still discovering the ways of the world. Beautifully simple and innocent.

Mother: Caucasian, late 40s. Her face holds both happiness and sadness. She loves her son, but is unsure of how to help him.

Father: Caucasian, early to Mid 30s – Handsome, confident, carefree. A man on the beach with his family. Must be comfortable on a horse.

Bearded Man/Photographer: Caucasian, mid 30s. A threatening force yet intriguing.

Gypsy: Late 20s to mid 30s. Long Brown hair. Tan skin. Her movement is fluid like the water, her body seductive, an extension of nature. Must sing a simple song – Appalachian folk tune “The Riddle”

Police Officer: Caucasian, approximately 20 - 27. Feels confident but is young and inexperienced.
