Independent feature Film Casting Actors In Minneapolis, MN

Dean Peterson of Peterson Cinema is casting principal actor roles for the upcoming feature film being shot in Minneapolis, MN in June, 2009.

The film is about two recent college graduates, Anne, an ambitious law student and Amir, an aimless escalator attendant and aspiring sculptor move into a 300 square foot apartment and try to start a life together. But the combination of their small apartment, their threateningly handsome neighbor across the hall and unexpected visitors from the past make them realize that maybe they aren’t as perfect for each other as they previously had thought.

The following roles are available:

Amir: Male, 23 - An escalator attendant with no direction. Uncertain, goofy, and perpetually in need of a haircut.

Anne: Female, 24 - A beautiful and confident law student. Living the shadow of her hyper successful lawyer father.

Mr. Arbor: Male, 50-60 - Anne’s wildly successful, hardline father. The type who wears three piece suits to the grocery store.

Mrs. Arbor: Female, 50-60 - Anne’s mother. A submissive homemaker. Rich, over protective, but well meaning.

Samantha: Female, 24 - Anne’s law school friend. Has a chip on her shoulder and is dating a 45 year old lawyer.

Tom: Male, 30 - The neighbor across the hall. He is a professor at the nearby college. Handsome, confident.
