Universal Television and Hazy Mills Productions are getting ready to begin production on the third season of the hit NBC supernatural drama television series "Grimm". The extras casting director has scheduled an open casting call for people who would like to work on the show as fully paid extras and featured background actors. There is no experience required, and all types are needed, ages 18 and over. The series is a single-camera setup that shoots in the Portland, Oregon and surrounding area.
Homicide Detective Nick Burkhardt of the Portland Police Bureau learns he is descended from an elite line of criminal profilers known as "Grimms," charged with keeping balance between humanity and the mythological creatures of the world called Wesen. In season three Nick remains in a zombified state with no quick fix or rescue in sight. Monroe and Rosalee tie the knot while Sergeant Wu sees too much in his first direct encounter with a Wesen and turns a bit psycho. Hank falls deeply for his physical therapist — also a Wesen — and her meddling parents don't like it one bit.
Starring in "Grimm" is David Giuntoli playing the central character Nick Burkhardt; Black Reel Awards nominee Russell Hornsby as Hank Griffin; Reggie Lee portrays Sgt. Wu; Silas Weir Mitchell plays the role of Monroe; Sasha Roiz plays Captain Renard; Broadcast Film Critics Association Awards Bitsie Tulloch plays Juliette Silverton; Bree Turner portrays Rosalee Calvert; and Claire Coffee is Adalind Schade.
Jim Kouf and David Greenwalt are creators and executive producers of "Grimm". Six-time Golden Globe Award nominee Sean Hayes and Todd Milliner executive produce under the banner of their production company Hazy Mills Productions. The two founded Hazy Mills in 2004 to develop and produce projects for various studios, including NBC/Universal, CBS/Paramount, UPN, Bravo, CW, Showtime, SyFy, F/X, FOX and TV-Land. Three-time ALMA Awards nominee Norberto Barba also executive produces.
