Floren Shieh Productions and Two Ton Films are now in pre-production on the indie thriller film "Lost In The Sun" and the casting directors have scheduled an open casting call for this weekend December 14, southeast of Austin, Texas for a lead role in the movie. They are seeking a teen who can play between 13 and 16 years of age. Any ethnicity is welcome to attend. The casting directors are open to seeing both experienced and non-experienced talent. Shooting will commence in February, 2014 in Texas.

The film tells the story of small-time crook who kidnaps a teenage orphan boy named Louis, and develops a very strong bond with the youngster as they set out on a string of robberies. Starring in "Lost In The Sun" is Daytime Emmy Award winner Josh Duhamel playing John, the two-bit crook. Duhamel recently completed filming on the upcoming drama feature film "You're Not You" starring opposite two-time Academy Award winner Hilary Swank and Golden Globe Award nominee Emmy Rossum. He also recently wrapped shooting on the feature film "Strings" starring alongside two-time Golden Globe Award nominee Maria Bello.

Filmmaker Trey Nelson will direct "Lost In The Sun" from his own original screenplay. This will be Nelson's first full length non-documentary feature film directorial credit. He produced, wrote, and directed the short films "Raccoon" and "Maybe Means No". Nelson has directed four feature length documentaries and dozens of television series. Clay Floren and Aimee Shieh will produce for Floren Shieh Productions. Floren and Sheih will next produce the major feature film "Bone Tomohawk" starring Jennifer Carpenter and Kurt Russell.
