There are two open casting calls scheduled on Saturday August 16, 2014 for two major motion pictures. One is in Atlanta, GA and the other is in Jerilderie, NSW Australia.
THE DRESSMAKER OPEN CASTING CALL
The Universal Pictures feature film The Dressmaker will be shooting in several locations around Victoria, Australia beginning on October 13, 2014. An open casting call will take place on August 16, 2014. The following is needed:
[AUSTRALIAN RULES FOOTBALL PLAYERS] Men 20-35, any ethnicity. Must be able to convincingly portray footy players.
[SPECTATORS] Males and Females, all types from 12-90 years of age.

The Dressmaker stars Academy Award winner Kate Winslet, Teen Choice Awards winner Liam Hemsworth, and two-time Academy Award nominee Judy Davis. Australian Film Institute AFI Award winner Jocelyn Moorhouse will direct The Dressmaker from her own adapted screenplay based on the novel by Rosalie Ham. AFI Award winner Sue Maslin will produce.
Story:
Tilly (Winslet) is beautiful, talented and distinctly unique. Burdened by guilt she returns to her hometown to find her mother, Mad Molly, demented. Tilly is an outsider, accused of murder and turned upon by insular locals. Whilst there is pain in the past and Tilly remains accused, the landscape is populated by a host of formidable characters who do the funniest, surprising and sometimes unsavory things; and who elevate reality into a warm - hearted Cohen’esque human comedy. Tilly is a genius with haute couture and armed with fabric and a needle she transforms and liberates the women in the town; and ultimately exacts sweet revenge on those who did her wrong. The Marvel feature film Ant-Man needs people to work on the film as fully paid extras and featured background actors. If interested, please attend the open casting call on August 16, 2014. Here are the details:

Ant-Man stars Screen Actors Guild Awards nominee Paul Rudd, Golden Globe Award Nominee Evangeline Lilly, Academy Award winner Michael Douglas, and Screen Actors Guild Award winner Michael Peña. CableACE Awards nominee Peyton Reed will direct Ant-Man from a screenplay written by Andrew Barrer and Gabriel Ferrari. Producers are Kevin Feige, Louis D'Esposito, and Brad Winderbaum. Additional filming will take place in San Francisco. Ant-Man will hit theaters July 17, 2015.
